If I recall correctly, for many marine fish, blue and yellow are at opposite ends of the spectrum (i.e. equivalent to our black and white). So it makes sense that a strong yellow colour like chartreuse would be highly visible to them.
Chart is a very popular colour where I fish in N.Wales. Target species is Bass. Usual chart if fishing over kelp or reef etc and white over sand. This whether the lure is a jig, plug or soft plastic
My personal opinion is that you could use a black lure as the fish are seeing a silhouette and reacting to vibration and other cues. But I've never kept a record of lure colour like yourself Nabu San. It could be that the lures I used in darkness were chartreuse.
I can agree colors makes a difference. Before sun brighter colors even glow jigs work well. After dawn, silver and greens and there natural bait fish colors work well. Strangely I don't think fish see 'color' exactly how we do as they can see UV also. I believe fish she more of shades because I use pink and yellow and there is nothing in the ocean that is that color but it works at times. 😊 I think more of action, are fish hungry, color and scent on the lure all add to the bite not color alone. 😊

いつも有益な動画ありがとうございます。私はバンクーバー島でカヤックフィシングを週3ぐらいの頻度でたのしんでいます。チャートカラーはあまり使ってこなかっタンですが、今後は使用したいと思います。経験上グローが最強ではないかと思います。又ケイムラ塗料をチャートカラージグに塗装したらどうでしょうかね？(こちらの海は大体濁りが多く水深50メートル前後が勝負層です。)
